Endeavour to succeed in the wake of difficulties

Because a thing is difficult it does not mean that one should give it up; on the contrary, the more difficult a thing is, the greater must be the will to carry it out successfully. Of all things the most difficult is to bring the divine consciousness into the material world. Must the endeavour then be given up because of this?
